General FAQs
I created STEMCurious as a platform for growing the Physics, Mathematics, and larger STEM community. Here, you can find links to the STEMCurious YouTube Channel which hosts various series' on different subjects and topics. My aim with the channel was to teach these subjects in an intuitive and easy-to-understand manner for people of any background.
You can also find, on the website; different resources, research papers and white-papers written by me, simulations & models I created, and other methods of assistance.
STEMCurious is created as a passion project. My primary interest has been in physics since childhood, but has also grown to the teaching of STEM in recent years. All resources, videos, documents and models are projects I have worked on just for the love of the game. They are built with passion, determination, and proper scientific method. Just as it applies to food, projects created with love and passion are always better than ones created for consumerism.
It's neither. STEMCurious is a passion project which has it's own YouTube channel for videos and a website to act as a general platform, with more socials may arrive soon. STEMCurious isn't a registered business or company, but the brand name is used so users are familiar with it across all platforms.
The man behind STEMCurious is me, Aayan Zaman. I'm a high-school student currently 16 years old, and I've loved Physics and Teaching Physics since I can remember. My primary interest is in Scientific communication and Research, and I want to use my skills to help others learn and grow an interest in the beautiful subjects that are STEM. You can know more about me in the "About" section.
My passion has always been in Physics, Mathematics, and STEM in general. I'm currently a Volunteer teacher and Education Department Volunteer in AIM Initiative Foundation for underprivileged children, where I am teaching Mathematics in grades 4-8 and volunteering in various events for the School. I am also an ambassador for the International Astronomy & Astrophysics Competition (IAAC), and a permanent Campus Ambassador for Banglar Math. I have various awards and medals in International competitions, including WMI Silver Medal, WMTC Silver Medal, IAAC Bronze honor etc. You can learn and find out more in the "About" section, or click on the LinkedIn Icon below to view my page
I have a goal of publishing at least one video per week if not more, unless I am in my busy periods in life such as soon with my IGCSE Examinations. Blog Posts are also very informative and posted weekly generally. Other resources such as papers, presentations, simulations, models etc. are uploaded based on when they are published/created and have no specific schedule. To always be on the lookout for new and exciting content release, subscribe to the YouTube channel!
All content and information is created from my knowledge and learning throughout the years, visualized intuitively in a way I believe makes learning conceptual and easy. Each and every piece of information is double-verified through reputable books and sources and the content itself is checked multiple times throughout production to ensure no misinformation creeps out. However, humans can make mistakes so please let me know if you seem to spot any. Also, even though I believe it shouldn't even be asked, I use absolutely no AI in production
Yes you can! It helps us grow the community and interest newer people. and help those in need of better understanding of STEM. Of course, please do remember to link the original post/video or give proper credits in your share. Sharing my content, the website, the YouTube, or even the Brand Name or logo helps a lot in growing outreach. You can share publicly on social media, or just let your friends & family know as well!
Unfortunately not. The Articles are free and open for everyone to read, the models and diagrams are free to be downloaded and used for personal understanding, and must be credited if shared anywhere as all articles, models, presentations etc. are personal creations. Republished articles can be taken down, but feel free to share the link to the website or the "Research & White Paper" page to anyone.
Currently speaking, STEMCurious has no formal affiliations with any organizations or companies. I however, volunteer at the AIM Initiative Foundation, and currently have the role of Ambassador for Banglar Math and the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition. I have also previously worked as a STEM Envoy for the EMK center. Although, I am open to receiving invites for affiliation! You can learn more in the About section.
